A Case Study of Organic Personality Disorder in Adolescent after Closed Head Injury.

Abstract

|
The authors experienced organic personality disorder after closed head injury. Organic personalilty disorder is characterized with a variety of symptoms according to their injury site.
Disinhibition of impulsivity (esp. sexual spheres) is major sequele of frontal deficit. Kluber-Bucy syndrome is an extreme case of temporal lobe injury. Its problems are passivity, hyperorality, hypersexuality, visual agnosia, and memory
impairment.
Violenting outburst with minimal provocation is manifested in both frotal and temporal lobe injury.
